Release Plan Product Description

Our advocacy work convinces us of the importance of a Release Plan. The Release Plan influences stakeholders, including:
  • Probation officers,
  • Staff members in the Bureau of Prisons,
  • Personnel affiliated with the halfway house,
  • Federal judges.
We are convinced that a Release Plan can advance opportunities for the highest level of liberty, at the soonest possible time.   To derive maximum benefit from the First Step Act and the Second Chance Act, justice-impacted people going into federal prison should begin working on a release plan at the earliest possible time.   Earning Freedom (“We” “Our” “Us”) retained subject-matter experts during the research and creation of our proprietary Release Plan product to validate the content.   Client (“You”) understands that the Release Plan requires your engagement to complete the work.

Scope and Process

From our proprietary digital Release Plan course, you will learn the role of your personalized Release Plan with your mitigation strategy. Your Release Plan will differentiate you and influence stakeholders.   We will collaborate with you to create your Release Plan document. You will also receive acces to our proprietary course on Release Plans.   Your Release Plan should serve as a foundational document that you will build upon throughout your journey. The delivered product will span between 2,700 and 3,200 words. The accompanying course will offer suggestions on how you can continue to develop your Release Plan independently, while understanding the importance of making iterative changes to the Release Plan throughout the journey.   This project requires collaboration. If at any time during the project, more than seven days pass with no response from you following our delivery of the work product to you, we will conclude the project.

DISCLAIMER:

We offer assistance and information based on our collective experience as justice-impacted people. We advocate for the use of incentives for all people in federal prison, and you may see how leaders in the Department of Justice and the Bureau of Prisons rely upon our work to improve outcomes of the system:     We retain Subject Matter Experts, we research BOP policy, and we regularly review judicial decisions to stay current with mitigation strategies at every stage of the mitigation arc.   We encourage you to watch the videos we’ve done with subject matter experts that included:     We are not lawyers. We do not offer legal advice. We cannot file motions in any court of law.   No member of our company or affiliate representative is authorized to state otherwise.   We work with lawyers, and we can recommend a lawyer for you to consider.   If you choose to hire a lawyer, you will have a separate engagement and fee with that lawyer. Although we will share what we’ve learned with a lawyer representing you, we will not receive any portion of the fee that you pay to a lawyer.   Every individual bears the responsibility to self-advocate and to think proactively. As participants learn from our ongoing commitment to advocacy, successful candidates develop tools, tactics, and resources to advance their prospects for success. No members of our company or any affiliate representatives are authorized to cite statistics and/or claim, guarantee, or promise a specific outcome on any judicial or BOP decision or re-entry matter.   Page updated 4/28/2023
