Interview
About
Alan Eisner practices federal criminal defense in the Central District of California, with a focus on white collar cases: wire fraud, PPP and SBA loan fraud, tax fraud, and computer intrusion. His office is in the San Fernando Valley. He is the founding partner of Eisner Gorin LLP. His practice represents clients facing federal white collar investigations and prosecutions across California, Nevada, and Arizona, with matters handled in Texas as well. Mr. Eisner began his career as a Deputy Public Defender in Los Angeles from 1987 to 1992, then opened his own practice. He has practiced criminal defense exclusively for over 31 years and has been a Certified Specialist in Criminal Law with the California State Bar's Board of Legal Specialization for more than 20 years. Mr. Eisner treats direct communication with the client as central to his work, not something handed off to staff. He gives clients his personal cell phone number, has them put the full history of their conduct in writing early, and pushes a client's statement to the judge through multiple drafts before it is filed. Every filing goes back to the client for review and approval before it reaches the court. Watch the full video interview above to hear Alan talk about why he refuses to judge a client, how he builds a sentencing record long before a case ever reaches a judge, and what he wants every client to know before they call him.
