Long Federal Prison Sentence Threatens to Tear Family Apart

I received a phone call from a concerned wife struggling to deal with her husband’s attitude before his surrender to federal prison. During our conversation, she expressed frustration with his negative behavior, including constant blaming and excuses. Her concerns highlighted an all too true reality–imprisonment is just as hard (or harder) on family.

As I express in this video, the goal should be more than getting a shorter sentence or getting out of prison early–it’s also about setting an example for one’s family. It’s about demonstrating that even in challenging times, one can serve one’s sentence with dignity and grace, proving oneself worthy of the love and support that family has provided for years.

If you’re dealing with a similar situation, take action promptly. Your family is watching. They need you to lead, to be strong and resilient.
