Yesterday I returned to The Daily Briefing with Dana Perino on Fox News. Dana and I discussed the disgraced billionaire and registered sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
Mr. Epstein was detained over the weekend as he returned to America from France. He was arrested for allegedly sex trafficking minors in Florida and New York. The alleged crimes dates back to 2002-2005.
For some background, many years ago Epstein plead guilty for allegedly molesting underaged girls. The result of that state case led to a short prison term. He also had to register as a sex offender. That plea agreement and short prison term is leading many people to believe he got a slap on the wrist. I can assure my readers he will not be getting a slap on the wrist this time.
Dana wanted my thoughts on what happens next for Mr. Epstein.
Essentially, he is angling, I told Dana. He is thinking, plotting and doing all he can to try to get the shortest possible prison term. That angling will, of course, will mean cooperating against those who enabled his alleged crime.
