Prison Consulting Client Reviews White Collar Advice & Prison Professors

I am pleased to share an authentic review from a prison consulting client, Mike Stoll.

“Dear Justin,

I knew from the generous sharing of free and valuable information you gave, when I first discovered you on-line, that you were a good and smart businessman that I felt I could trust. As you know, I signed up for the White Collar Advice course you offer, and I am happy to report that the course information was right on point, as it was directly responsible for me not receiving a prison term for my Federal offense.

This past Monday I appeared before the judge for my sentencing hearing. My crime was four counts of conspiracy to commit bank fraud totaling over $3.5 million. As a direct result of taking your advice, and going through the course, I received a sentence of 5 years of supervised release plus 6 months home confinement. I was expecting at least two years in prison.

The essential tool you gave me was the creation of my personal narrative. Using your examples I was able to understand how to structure the narrative and what information would be relevant and of interest to the judge. The first use of the narrative was in greatly influencing the PreSentence Report. In my PSR interview I gave my narrative to the pretrial officer. She used it to create her PSR for the judge; just like you said. There were many, many things in my narrative that she copied verbatim into her PSR.

During the sentencing hearing the judge recounted things directly from the narrative, such as a story I told about working with my father when I was a young boy. She commented that she had never come across a defendant who put the victims pain before their own well-being. She was totally moved by the telling of my need to care for my mentally ill wife, and she was totally influenced by my telling about the desperate financial situation I was in at the time of my crime.

All of these things were written with the guidance of your words on video and instructional materials in the course. I think that the prosecution even received a copy of the narrative as he ended up actually defending me to the judge from his side of the aisle. Totally amazing. Judge Xinis said that she wished she received more letters like mine from defendants so that she could get to know the person to whom she is administering sentencing.

Justin, I cannot thank you and your partner Michael Santos enough for the encouragement you give to take your life into your own hands, and for giving me the tools to do just that. If we have the knowledge and the tools, we can influence the outcomes of our lives. I am blessed to have found you.

Sincere Gratitude,
Mike Stoll”
