Communication & Mail

  • •520 phone minutes a month: The prison pays for the first 300 free phone minutes per month if you are enrolled in First Step Act programming; calls cost around $0.06/minute for the additional 210 minutes. Each call cuts off at 15 minutes and your calling list is limited to 30 numbers. Phone access is seven days a week, starting at 6am and ending no later than 11:30pm at the camp.
  • •Overnight mail is not accepted — all incoming overnight packages are processed as general correspondence. Mail is accepted via USPS First-Class, Priority, and Express.

  • •Visiting hours are Saturday, Sunday, and federal holidays from 8am–3pm. Each person is allowed a maximum of 4 adult visitors and 4 children under 16 at one time.

  • •Commissary schedules are posted on inmate bulletin boards and TRULINCS. The monthly spending limit is $360.

Psychology/Counseling Services

The Psychology Services Department offers individual counseling, a drug education program, suicide prevention, and a sexual abuse and assault prevention program. Open house hours for the camp are Wednesday at 11:30 AM.

Health Services

Prisoners receive outpatient medical care with 24-hour availability. Sick call sign-up at the camp is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 to 6:30 AM. The camp pill line runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 6:15 AM, with medication pickup at 5:00 to 5:30 PM.

Fitness & Recreation

The Recreation Department offers organized and informal sports, physical fitness, table games, hobby crafts, music programs, intramural activities, and movies. The hobby craft center provides artwork in oils, pastels, crayons, pencils, inks, charcoal, ceramics, mosaics, crochet, knitting, and sculptures. Wellness programs include screening, assessments, goal setting, fitness and nutrition prescriptions, counseling, and classes. Hours are daily 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 4:30 to 8:30 PM; weekends 6:20 to 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and 4:30 to 8:30 PM.

Religious Services

The Religious Services Department provides pastoral care, religious worship, education, counseling, spiritual direction, support, and crisis intervention. Contract volunteers provide services for most faiths. Each religious faith celebrates a major weekly service and may hold a scriptural study or prayer session at another time during the week.
