Female low-security and minimum-security residents are housed in dormitories with three-person and four-person rooms. Four TV rooms per housing unit.

The Psychology Services Department coordinates counseling services and drug abuse treatment programs. The Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) is one year in duration and includes classroom instruction, individual therapy, and group therapy. The Drug Education Program covers the social, psychological, and physical impact of substance use. The Pathways Treatment Program is a nine-month non-residential trauma and recovery program with five hours of treatment per week. Additional options include Alcoholics Anonymous, self-image groups, and other voluntary groups.
The Health Services Unit is open seven days a week and provides outpatient care. Facilities include X-ray, pharmacy, laboratory, dental clinic, and examination rooms, with the dental facility located in a separate building. Female persons are eligible for pregnancy tests, pap smears, pelvic examinations, and breast examinations on intake and at routine intervals. Community hospitals are utilized when necessary. Sick call sign-up for non-emergency issues is between 6:15 and 6:30 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. Pill line hours are 6:00 AM and 4:45 PM.
Leisure activities and programs are available to support positive attitudes toward free time and wellness. Programs include hobby craft classes, wellness classes, structured exercise, sports, leisure leagues, and holiday and cultural events. Hobby craft offers painting, leather craft, ceramics, and copper work. Persons are encouraged to participate in housing unit activities such as unit-based hobby craft. A monthly activity calendar is posted in the units and on TRULINCS.
Chaplains offer religious worship, education, counseling, spiritual direction, support, and crisis intervention to meet diverse needs. They also oversee the religious diet program, ceremonial religious meals, and religious holiday observances.
