  • Mail is accepted via USPS First-Class, Priority, and Express Mail. All publications must come directly from the publisher or bookstore. Each person is limited to five magazines and five books.

Library

The library is open Monday through Thursday 7:30–10:30 AM, 1–3:30 PM, and 5:30–8 PM; Friday 7:30–10 AM and 1–3:30 PM; Saturday 7:30–9:30 AM and 11 AM–3:30 PM. A law library clerk can assist with legal research. Typewriters and a copier are available for preparing legal documents.

Psychology/Counseling Services

Psychology Services offers counseling through qualified staff and various group programs, including self-image development, Alcoholics Anonymous, and Narcotics Anonymous. Individual and group psychotherapy are available. The Living Free Program helps participants develop a more positive lifestyle through a guided review of personal values. Program participation is voluntary.

Health Services

The camp medical program is supported by outside medical consultants who handle special referral cases. Dental and sick call appointments are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (excluding holidays) from 6:30 to 7:00 AM. Pill line hours vary throughout the day, with schedules posted near the pharmacy. Limited over-the-counter medications may be purchased through the commissary. Preventive health screenings are available every two years for those under 50, and annually for those 50 and older. Medical staff is available to address routine and urgent care needs.

Fitness & Recreation

The recreation department offers both indoor and outdoor activities. The camp provides hobby craft programs in art and leather, along with individualized arts and crafts options.

Religious Services

A wide range of religious programs are offered at the camp. Staff chaplains are available, along with contract and volunteer representatives of various faiths, to support worship, study, and spiritual guidance.
