Health Services

Medical sick call at the camp is held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:45 to 7:15 AM. Pill line hours are posted at the pharmacy window. At least one physician assistant is on duty or on call around the clock. The camp provides outpatient care, with specialty consultants from the community available as needed, including specialized services for women. Local hospitals are about eight miles away. Elective female health screenings such as pap smears and pelvic or breast exams may be requested yearly for those under 30 and every three years for those over 30. Mammograms begin at age 40 and are performed every two years.

Fitness & Recreation

Recreation activities at the camp include intramural sports, art, aerobics, music, and physical fitness and health education classes. Hobby craft programs are also available.

Religious Services

Full-time chaplains serve the facility along with contract and volunteer representatives.
