Seven housing units with dormitory-style areas, cubicles, and double rooms. New arrivals typically start in dormitory and cubicle areas until rooms become available.

Phone Policy

300 minutes per month, 15-minute call limit, 30 approved numbers. Phone list may be updated up to three times per month (max nine per quarter). Phones available during non-programming and non-work hours. One red phone operational 24 hours a day.

Library

Law library open daily 7:30 AM–8:30 PM. Recognized as one of the largest libraries in the Bureau of Prisons. Lexis/Nexis and Electronic Law Library available. Typewriters and copier provided. Inmate law clerk available for research assistance.

Psychology/Counseling Services

Psychology Services provides crisis intervention and group-based counseling. Introductory groups include Basic Cognitive Skills, DBT Skills Workshop, and a CBT Skills group with rotating topics. Intermediate programming covers Criminal Thinking, Trauma in Life Workshop, and Anger Management. Specialty groups address trauma treatment, chronic pain, and other needs. Self-help resources and a mental health library are also available. The camp offers a 500-hour, nine-month Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), as well as a six-month non-residential drug treatment program, a drug education program, Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Gambler's Anonymous, and individual and group counseling. The Inmate Companion Cadre offers monthly workshops on various topics. Psychology Services sessions are ordinarily confidential.

Health Services

Routine medical attention requires signing up for sick call between 6:45 and 7:00 AM. Sick call is available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday — there is no sick call on Thursdays. Fitness & Recreation

The Recreation Department includes an auditorium, multi-purpose room, gymnasium, and a range of indoor and outdoor sports and activities. Programs are designed to support positive interpersonal relationships, stress reduction, and constructive use of free time. Hobby craft areas are open daily and include drawing, painting, leather craft, crochet, and beading. Projects must be approved by the Recreation Department and mailed home within 30 days of completion. Persons are limited to three hobby craft projects at a time. Unit art is available for small drawing and crochet projects. Leisure time activities include television, table games, and sports.

Religious Services

The camp provides persons of all faith groups with reasonable and equitable opportunities to pursue religious beliefs and practices. All group religious activities take place in the chapel or the outdoor worship area. Religious services, studies, and prayer are coordinated through the Religious Services Department. Services may be temporarily postponed or canceled for safety and security reasons.
